I M P O R T A N T!
Please read before using Web Restore feature!
Note: The restore utility restores the files you choose to the exact location of where they were on your computer when they were backed up. If you are restoring to a computer that is not your own, or to a new computer, you MUST manipulate the "Restore files to:" to a place you can access, like 'Desktop' or 'My Documents'. Otherwise you may not be able to find your restored files with ease.
The window below is the web restore window you will see. This is where you will need to click the 'Browse' button and select a location which will allow you to easily access the file(s) or folders(s) you are restoring.
If you are restoring to your existing computer, and the same exact file exists, it will be skipped. If the file is different, a warning will appear asking you if you want to replace the file with the backup copy. If you do not want to overwrite your existing file, click the 'Cancel' button on the warning window and use the 'Browse' button to select a different location and start the restore again. It may make sense to make a new folder on your desktop called Restore and browse to that folder
.
If you have questions regarding how this feature works, please contact us. We would hate to see you overwrite an important file by mistake!
Standard support is available Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm EST.
